Welcome! I am Stephanie Brumleve and I will be your child's teacher this year. I am very excited to work with each and every one of you. I have lots of fun activities planned for this year! This website contains some information about me, how to contact me, an example of what my lesson plans might be like, links to educational websites that I think will be beneficial to my students, our weekly newsletter, as well as other information.
If you missed open house, click here for the Power Point presentation that was shown. This presentation talks about class rules, my goals, upcoming fieldtrips, and upcoming lessons. I hope this presentation will fill you in on what you missed and if you have any questions, send me an email or call me. |
Classroom Goals:
|
What's going on this Year?We will be doing lots of fun things this year! We will cover the basic subjects such as: math, reading, science, and social studies. We will also have different units throughout the year. We will have a fall unit that lasts the whole month of September. We will have a Solar System unit and Farm unit as well. My hope is that every student of mine will grow in his or her education and be able to become integrated back into the regular education classroom. I am very excited to start this year and I hope you all are as well!

Our Class Pet!
This is Ziggy! Ziggy is our class pet for this year! He is a guinea pig that
we adopted from the pet shop. He is very spoiled! The students are very excited
to have him and are very helpful in taking care of him. The students clean his
pen once a week, feed him, give him water, and give him lots of attention! It is
my hope, that with parent permission, each child will be able to take him home
for the weekend to care for him. Having Ziggy as a class pet is teaching the
children a lot of valuable information on how to be responsible.

Star Student!
Every week we will have a Star Student. This student will be drawn from a hat and will get to be the line leader, the teacher's helper, and will get to choose a toy from the prize box. Once drawn for star student, the childs name will be placed in another hat until everyone has had a chance to be the Star Student.
